Frequently Asked Questions

What dumpster sizes do you rent?

We rent five roll-off sizes: 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 yard. The 10 and 15-yard sizes suit small cleanouts and single-room projects, the 20-yard is our most popular for remodels and whole-house cleanouts, and the 30 and 40-yard sizes handle large renovations, construction debris, and commercial work.

Which size should I pick?

Tell us what you are throwing away and we will match the size. A bathroom tear-out or a couple of rooms of junk usually fits a 10 or 15-yard. Kitchen remodels, flooring work, and garage or estate cleanouts usually land on a 20-yard. Roofing jobs, major renovations, and construction debris usually need a 30 or 40-yard. Sizing up is cheaper than paying for a second delivery, and we are happy to talk it through before you book.

How much does a dumpster rental cost in Asheville?

Starting prices are $245 for a 10-yard, $300 for a 15-yard, $400 for a 20-yard, $495 for a 30-yard, and $600 for a 40-yard. Every starting price includes delivery, pickup, 7 days of rental, and 1 ton of disposal. Our dumpster rental cost page breaks the pricing down in full.

What is included in the price?

Delivery, pickup, a full 7 days with the dumpster, and the first ton of debris disposal are all included in the starting price. There are no separate drop-off or haul-away fees added later. The only possible extras are keeping the dumpster longer and weight over the included ton, and we quote both up front.

What happens if my load goes over the included weight?

Every rental includes 1 ton of disposal. If your load weighs more than that, the extra weight is billed at $55 per ton over. Heavy material like roofing, tile, and concrete reaches the limit faster than household junk, so mention heavy debris when you book and we will help you size for weight, not just space.

How long can I keep the dumpster?

Your rental includes 7 days, which is enough for most cleanouts and remodels. If the project stretches — weather, an inspection, a contractor running behind — extra days are $10 a day. Just call before the week is out so we do not schedule your pickup too soon.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Asheville?

Not on private property. If the dumpster sits on your driveway or elsewhere on your own land, no permit is needed. If it has to go in the street, the City of Asheville requires a Right-of-Way Encroachment Permit, which the customer obtains before delivery. We will explain what you need and help you through it when you book.

Where will you put the dumpster, and will it hurt my driveway?

Most deliveries go on the driveway — a flat, paved spot with clear access for the truck. We set the container carefully so your driveway comes out of it unmarked. Steep, gravel, or tight spots are usually workable too. Describe the site when you book and we will plan a placement you can load safely.

What can I put in the dumpster?

Furniture, mattresses, washers, dryers, stoves, household junk, and construction debris are all fine. Load it level with the top of the container so we can haul it safely.

What cannot go in the dumpster?

Appliances containing refrigerant, such as fridges and air conditioners, plus tires, batteries, asbestos, hazardous waste, medical waste, wet paint, propane, and oils or fuel are prohibited. Paint that has dried completely is fine. If you are unsure about an item, call (828) 220-3068 and ask before it goes in.

Can I put a mattress or an old washer and dryer in the dumpster?

Yes. Mattresses and furniture are welcome, and so are washers, dryers, and stoves. The one exception is appliances with refrigerant — fridges and air conditioners cannot go in and need separate disposal.

How does pickup work?

Call (828) 220-3068 when you are done loading and we will schedule the pickup, or we will collect the dumpster at the end of your included 7 days. Keep the load level with the top of the container and the access to it clear, and we will haul it away and handle the disposal.

Can I get a dumpster delivered today?

Often, yes. Call early, and same-day delivery is often possible, depending on the day’s routes and which containers are in the yard, so we cannot promise it. The earlier in the day you call, the better your chances.

What areas do you serve?
